Good riddance
FRANKIE DETTORI will miss the Breeders' Cup after picking up a seven-day ban for careless riding at Newbury on Saturday.
The Godolphin rider was found to have caused Right Step's fall in the Totescoop6 HBLB Handicap after his mount, Willing Foe, clipped heels with the Alan Jarvis-trained runner.
Dettori, who had been set to ride Encke at Doncaster but switched to Newbury after the Racing Post Trophy contender was withdrawn, scored on Pimpernel in the previous race.

Won't cost him. These days he only ever wins on horses that would win with a corpse glued on.
