I recently noticed that in th Sun Dream Team there are ratings next to every player based on thier success and how much they cost under the heading " Value for Money ".

I would be very interested in a similar rating that shows a "value for money" rating or similar based on how much the horses cost within that yard.

I read a guy on here spouting about Mark Johnstone being a genius because he trains over 200 winners but i bet if you averaged out the cost of the horses in his yard it might tell a diff tale.

Likewise I bet Sir Mark Pressy would be very close to the bottom of the scale if it was prize money vs cost of horses as his seem to win 2k egg and spoon races despite being bred to win Derby's

Perhaps a valuation would need to be put against home bred etc but I wonder which trainers would offer the BEST & WORST value per £ spent

Top for me might be trainers like

B Ellison
R Fahey
T Vaughan
V Dartnall

What would be your best & worst
