Some young woman came into Lad-brooks in South Kensington (posh part of London). She was definitely not your archetypal gambler. You could tell that almost 99% she was sent by someone else to get bets on. Anyway the cashier didnt take her bet & said he had to call up to get permission. She waited around a little anxiously , then the cashier called her & he said he could only take couple of hundred quid.
She jokingly said "what does a girl/woman have to do to get a bet around here". I dont know how much she managed to get on at the end but she left swiftly
She was trying to ge £1500 on, but im guessing she had been doing the rounds to other bookies to also get few grand on , but probably they denied her too. The cashier then started to call around other local shops (informant) & warning other people of her.
Well i dont know if its inside info/fix , or whatever , but for a young non-gambling woman to go round shops trying to get thousands on a crappy low grade race is abit fishy IMO, unless you know something

this has just proved to me that its pointless reading form and losing hard earned money trying to figure out races. Its all inside info.

going around bookies trying to get £1000s on a grade 6 £1600 prize money race = in the know
The horse was well handicapped and could have been given a squeak before last time out. Then after last time out when it won very well proving it acts on the course, well hardly inside info. Still it was available at reasonable prices this morning.
If you couldn't see that had a chance on form then I would suggest you give up. The only issue was does the price represent value.

It was the form horse and backed up by the time at brighton last week.
