Dear Board Members of The British Horseracing Authority

I believe the time has come for a change of leadership within the BHA  and call upon you to request the resignation of Mr Paul Roy with immediate effect.

His tenure of office has been littered with failures to properly understand and appreciate the needs of the horse racing industry and he has overseen several embarrassing incidents which have brought your organisation into  National and International disrepute.

I believe you have a duty to ensure this scenario is not allowed to continue and I trust you will come to a speedy decision and begin the immense task of re-building the reputation of your organisation.

Yours

Dear Mr Lucan

perhaps Mr Roy recieves his share of bad press, but we would like to let you know he has achieved the following

1) Taking Betfair to court with William Hills money
2) Endlessly attacked Fred Done over the tote, and has left Done’s (the totes)relationship with racing in tatters.
3) Unrepentantly presiding over whip rules the jockeys won’t ride under
4)Gave the BHA (with Coward) the order to refuse punter representation to the BHA – well that tells you everything about the man
5) Allegedly tried to manipulate and damage Betfairs IPO - and apparently got 'investigated' by the FSA for his attempts
6) 2012 Fixture list still not complete, IJF printing calandars without fixtures - claiming any more delay will cost them 1000s
7) Chase owners from the sport - by outlawing laying a stables runner (or backing their opposition)

as such I assume you will now retract your request.

regards The BHA
