it is an interesting question

they have said that if the liability on an accumulator is very large, they will use the exchange to hedge

but to take your point - if someone just put doubles on for large stakes and won with monotonous regularity, then they would have to decide whether to stand the bets or put them on the exchange

or maybe they have automated procedures to do this as a matter of course

for example Barney Curley's putters-on could have used betafir multiples with no questions asked?

I am sure they would be delighted to see someone constantly putting on successful win doubles. Easy for them to hedge some away, shorten the exchange prices on each race and make a nice profit. You as the backer will get fed-up with BF SP's below the ISP and look at another solution.

Why not just back each leg yourself on exchange, sure to beat ISP most of the time and plenty of volume within 10 mins of the race?

....and yes Barney could but wouldn't as BF control their SP....not sure of the exact rules but remember reading a post from a very upset punter when BF returned NO SP on a race with a short price winner.

Hmmm - don't see where their profit comes from in that instance
