betfair rapid

Not sure if it is still supported -

But willing to be proven wrong, though.

I tried to download it a while back - and Windows7 would not have it.

^I asked about this on General Betting a few days ago. Guy said it should still work, so interesting to hear you say not, onlooker.

Perhaps it depends on your Operating system -

OR, more importantly - IF it is already on your PC.

Just tried to DOWNLOAD it again, on Firefox  ... using >

http://promo.betfair.com/rapid/contact.html

SAME situation - Done the Download - But then...

When I try to OPEN the DOWNLOAD - I get a pop-up 'Message Box' saying ...

'Installation Error – Unable to define installation folder
The requested operation requires elevation'.

There is, of course,  consequently NO Betfair Rapid Icon on my Desktop

i have got a new computer, is it still available?

Now another 'Message Box' has appeared ...

Windows detected that this program did not run correctly

To try and fix the problem, Windows [b]has applied comparability settings to this program

Program: Unknown Program
Publisher: Unknown Publisher

Location: C:...\BetfairRapid.1.2.145.21-5-2009(2).exe

this is highly annoying,  is there anything else, i know betangel, but that isnt free

hoff  - have you tried Downloading Betfair Rapid - like myself?

If so, have you got the same ERRORS etc?

- and are you using Windows7 ? - Which is the latest OS(FFS)

^ thehoffisback ?

He's obviously NOT back onlooker

I have emailed the - rapid@betfair link

Not heard anything - So it's 50/50 whether that is still in existence.

Is anybody on here currently using Betfair Rapid?

geeks toy is currently free and for my purposes is better than Betfair Direct (long since unsupported) or Betfair Rapid

works fine for me when I need it.

A very clever piece of software .

Download so easy ,I use chrome

Betangel IS free, if you get the basic version, which does everything that Rapid does, does it not? Rapid is poo.
