An investment Banker - Someone who gambles with other peoples money and actually produces nothing for the country,except feeding his own grotesque greed for money.
How on earth does he become Head of the BHA when his only link and knowledge of Racing is through owning horses . Has he ever ridden a horse?
His position is now completely untenable and he must be forced to resign. Before they bring racing to it's knees does the BHA also want to employ someone with a WORKING knowledge of the industry.

not a fan of his by any means ..but the fact he's never ridden a horse makes no difference ..his business acumen got him the position....the sad thing io is his lack of common sense....

workrider, why do you assume Roy has any business acumen? Because he has millions?
There are many in the city who are millionaires but have zero business acumen. Does Roy's acquisition of BF shares indicate much foresight or assessment of a good investment? |

Has Roy made any contribution or inroads into securing a levy deal for the racing industry? Presumably that should be his no.1 priority?
Given his performance on Saturday on RUK and royal dismissal of the media yesterday, am staggered that racing's governing body have a person with apparently such limited management skills at its helm... or should we be that surprised? |

i thought his escapades yest with the sky film crew showed him for what he is
he should have stood there and done an interview, been honest, even if he then stuck mainly to the points in the letter they had issued he was just exposed as poor in the role & unworthy of his posn jump now or gets pushed later |
