My pet hate is when the race starts and the caller will not mention the leader, they always mention the horse slowest out of the stalls,and the 2nd last horse and then they mention the leader after a furlong, that big lad on the b.b.c and racing uk is a sh1t for that

Completing an accurate and efficient commentary is extremely difficult.
Errors have been and will be made, for me i think they need to be cut a littlw slack, they have a million things to look at in a very short space of time, all the time thinking before you speak. Well payed or not, its a tough job to call a race well. |
