Did Sean Fox 'jump off' that thing at Plumpton a few years ago or did he fall off?

Yes. I was at The Sun at the time and a bookie rang us before the event to tell us it would not complete the race. Ice ???? trained by someone who has since retired for giving a horse a 'Milkshake' aka Milzcarek.
Fox to this day says he did not jump, though. Confused

Not only did he jump ...

But he had a practice attemptBlush at the two fences before he ejected.

I remember him saying afterwards that he rides very short and with only his toes in the irons like a flat jockey and that any mistake could see him fall off easily or words to that effect, but did he really think it will be left at that and nobody would come back with something like, well maybe he should ride on the flat then or drop down a few holes instead.

Onlooker is correct. You can see him practising the jump off at the previous fence or two.
