Are you unhappy with the general direction that Horsing Racing is taking?

Sick of seeing the governing body make mistake after mistake, while they live the highlife on your hard earned?
Astounded by the lack of accountability from these gross incompetents?
Does it make you scream until you are in danger of causing a cardio infarction when you see the blatantly inept or corrupt get away with it time and again?
Do you think you are powerless to change this?

Well I am here to tell you that you are not powerless, that you of all the fans of sport have the power to DEMAND change.

Its quite simple really vote with your wallet. What I propose is a one day gamblers strike to demand the removal of the totaly ineffectual head of the fetid corpse that runs this sport. I doubt there is anything that would facilitate change quicker.

We all moan, wring our hands and shout about various issues but nothing ever changes. Now is your chance to make a difference without actually doing anything. It doesnt matter if you're a 2 pound punter or bet in 1000s, if enough of us show solidarity we can force some change.

All I am asking is instead of wagering on the horses on a given day (probably a big Saturday) and do something different. You could take the missus to the pictures, the brats to the pool, you can bet on other sports of you can open a national savings account. It doesnt really matter just do not bet a penny on anything related to BRITISH horse racing, no tote bets, no laying no yankees for one day and see if this doesnt get some attention, apparently 95% of us will be better off as well....

Its time to unfurl the red flag Borthers and Sisters and stand up to these daily abuses that we suffer.

No rage, simply dont bet, its your cash they want. I'd imagine the new owner(s) of the tote would be quite keen to see this sort of protest appeased as would the benefactors of this splendid forum.

I know we will never get a full house but if even 25% of punters withheld their dollar on a given day that would be enough for us to be taken seriously.

Tell everyone you know. After all its not like football were there are 1000s waiting to take up any slack, horese racing gamblers their friends and family are the sport imo...

tough 1 to call slim shady. some people make a living on here so asking them to not make a living for a day can be difficult. but saying that in order to make a change doing well published actions like this is the way forward.If rules that this we enforced in france they would burn the cities down
