in declaring that I have reached the impregnable position of

having a book that reads as follows.

              Hanagan £+1197

              Fallon  £+1165

              DeSousa £+1123

              Hughes  £-3285

              Others  £-10500

If only I could find a market like that every month.[;)]

Soumillon has been offered the Title of british Champion Jockey to stop him going to court to sue the BHA for wrecking his chances of the French Title.
Hard luck wee eck,but that`s racing in the mad world of Paul Roy.       Sad

when to trade?
Report wee eck • October 16, 2011 12:41 PM BST
FD. lay sousa now at 10s for a bet to nowt or shop around for 5s Fallon and 4-11 Hanagan, you know

it makes sense, get a guaranteed bit of profit, it warms ones heart.  Good luck[;)]
Report wee eck • October 16, 2011 12:42 PM BST
salmon, that it for me then, the whole bank risked on this oneSad
Report Fat Dodgy • October 16, 2011 12:45 PM BST
I think the gap will close today, I dont really fancy Hanagan think he nearly broke himslef last year plus Fahey cant have too many more reasonably handicapped ones can he? Fallon if he wants it will be the danger
Report Fat Dodgy • October 16, 2011 12:45 PM BST
but the 4 day ban is a fecking pain
Report 3foot • October 16, 2011 12:50 PM BST
When does the championship finish? Doncaster on 5/11?
Report wee eck • October 16, 2011 12:53 PM BST
FD I have just had another look at your figures, am I right in thinking that Sousa wins you over £7000?

if so you must hedge because if he does not knock in a canny few winners before his holiday starts he

will be nearly unlayable when he returns.  Imo act now.
Report 3foot • October 16, 2011 12:58 PM BST
I'd be tempted to agree with Wee eck (well played btw Sir in this market).

I've got an interest in SDS (no trading although I did think about it when SDS went neat to Evs a few months ago) albeit much smaller and I do think this ban may being the undoing. Ideally he needs a couple today, tomorrow and Tuesday to bring himself level with Hanagan. Then when he's suspended we need a glut of unfancied winners and for PH and even KF to be no further than 5 clear. If this happens, the scrap can begin...
Report wee eck • October 16, 2011 12:59 PM BST
FD, Willie Haggas likes Hanagan he will find him one or two, of that I am sure.

160 odd winners wins this thing this year I would bet on that so Hanagans lead

is crucial at this stage, that is no doubt why he is a 4-11 chance.

Once again the best of luck in whatever you decide to do.[;)][;)]
Report Fat Dodgy • October 16, 2011 12:59 PM BST
not far off i have edited the bet a bit cos it took so long to get the £200 on at those prices, its also proving tricky to lay off as there is no liquidity, I will wait until the end of todays racing as I expect SDS to have at least one winner

it averages out to about 36.5s @ £200 which is a tidy £7300
Report 3foot • October 16, 2011 1:01 PM BST

got my steak back off El Dececy there and a bit more, as i sayed will take a green book 50/50 when below 2/1 I honestly think it will be that close, but i would fecking kick myself if i traded away a bet like this
Report wee eck • October 16, 2011 2:31 PM BST
FD every person does what he thinks is best for him, I have always been

of the profit taking school. I cannot ever see DeSousa being 6-4 in the

race for leading jockey, but in this game who knows.  Best of luck.

These are the strike-rates for the last few months. Figures show numbers of wins, losses and win percentages.

Wealth warning: I've just knocked these up. If they were for my own betting, I'd take more care with double checking, and exclude foreign wins and maybe take SP and field size into account.

Interesting stats, Ram.

I still can't accept that SDS should be twice the price of Fallon.
Report Fat Dodgy • October 16, 2011 4:43 PM BST
its all down to the 4 day ban and how much MJ wants to help him imo (3 days really cos one day there is no flat racing)
Report 3foot • October 16, 2011 4:47 PM BST
Isn't he banned 19th,20th,21th and 24th which is 4 days of flat racing.

Any doubt about Fallon making it to Windsor tomorrow?

He's riding in Canada later tonight.

I suppose it's physically possible to get from A to B in twelve hours, but not without being jetlagged and massively sleep-deprived.

will k fallon s de sousa be riding in the melbourne cup?

SDS has opted not to go. Fallon, I assume, the same.
