I hope he stays retired, absolutely abysmal in a finsih which is why he wants the rules changed............. more strength in a wet paper bag!!

If he stays retired, will he be missed, NO, plenty at least can ride at his average level

I must admit, I was never a fan of his when he was retained by Prince Khallid Abdullah but I do like him now and feel far more confident backing his mounts.

Trainer is the genius where Hughes is concerned........... average jockey, awful in a finish and he knows it hence is the baby out fo the pram stuff re the whip

he can bate the bejaysus out of them when he wants to....sad really. If you arent an owner he's not interested in you. Sport of Kings indeed.

rubbish you muppet, the whole weighroom should be behind him and the rules will be changed,uk racing is the laughing stock of the world at the moment

so he can come back and give his mounts the full treatment when it suits him and his owners. Great news for the man in the betting shop...

they'll change the rules on monday though, it'll be 7 smacks anywhere in a race, only hope that the existing bans will stand, so he misses the breeders cup.......i don't see how they can alter the rules that suits both flat and jumps....i mean 8 times in a 3 miles slog on some horses isn't going to be many.

Dosent deserve to miss the breeders cup over a rule that is being laughed at all over the world,or taking the livehood of K.Fox for half a month in what will see these stupid rules made by muppets being changed next week .

Biggest culprit of not riding a horse out for a place EVER in the history of the sport, then gets the hump cause he misses a big payday. He should've missed a lot more days over the years if the stewards were doing their jobs.

I was a big fan of Hughes, but he has gone way down in my estimation with his petulant behaviour.

Must feel a right d1ck - desperately hoping he can find a way back without losing face.

Remember R.C Guest handing in his licence at Perth after a spat with the Stewards only

got it back after agreeing to a probationary period. The game is always bigger than the

individual.

The jockeys who like to coast in to the line when the win is gone, are being exposed for what they are, now that the gap between a full-on ride and hands and heels has been dramatically reduced. Not good news for Frankie Dettori and Mr Hughes....
