Instead of going out on strike how about continuing to ride but instead of racing out of the stalls just gently canter down the course in record slow times and cross the line spread right across the course?

As long as you're prepared to forego your riding fee and your trainers and owners are in agreement it would be great waiting for the photo finish result.

Just realised the problem with this idea.

Tony Pullhane would still be left ten lengths behind as the gates opened.
