It's not like there's been a dozen jockeys a day getting banned....in fact, if it wasnt for the final-furlong rule there would have been only a handful. They've certainly seized on what issues have arisen.

Ok, so the jocks cant see the furlong pole....call it 7 in total then and stress they have to give the horse time to respond in between hits....everyone's happy. Then we can all get on with backing some winners [;)]

More importantly did racing rulers think that the Richest race of the week, won by a Foreign jock  would then take the headlines on champions day

in the dictionary the word proffesional as far as sportsmen go means bending the rules or even breaking them to reach the best possible position,as an example if jockeys arnt sure just hit them 4 times ,if they miss count its still only 5,be nice to see some of these people involved in an accident with someone doing 71mph, [;)]
