Aberdonia...

I think next year will show Fr to be better even than DB - and when PKA and SHC stand up and say so it is not for us to differ: they are not like Coolmore who say that about haqlf a dozen horses every year.

Frankel has the speed of a sprinter and the gears of a middle distance horse and I see no reason why he won't be bhb 140+ and/or earn a timeform of 150 if he mullers the 10f crowd as well. Mid 2012 season will be fascinating as he attempts to give 8lbs to the present 2yr olds but as I've said elsewhere, the the reason it looked less than sensational last time at the finish was because the damage was done MID-race: sectionals showed he ran UNDER ELEVEN SECONDS between the 3 pole and 2 pole... fxxk ME!!  Can you imaginge it doing that between the 2 and 1 pole in a 10f race - there isn't a horse in the world in that division that wld live with that speed.

PS - nice picture, SHAME ABOUT THE GRAMMAR, though!  Silly

I'm guessing it's a typo with the A and the S side by side on the keyboard so beAt became beSt. Happy

I often do it myself and have both a A and S in my first name. I was thinking about starting up a support group....al crup tipysts uf teh wurld untie!

Getting back on topic though, apparently Dancing Brave did the final furlong in the Derby between 10.36 and 11.20 seconds, depending on whose version you want to believe and did the final 4 furlongs in a faster time than the final 4f that the 5f specialist did in their 5f race at the same meeting and that's after he had already run a mile too.

that is why he is regarded the best horse.

No one has run a faster final arc furlong as well.

As soon as anyone mentions STS into the equation then i switch off, they must be young and easily impressed.
