like banging your head off a wall coming up against Frankel

Yes it is hindsight but I thought that Excelebration without Frankel was a wonderful price. The four 3yo's were 1234 after Dancing Rain in the mares. Has there ever been a season when the 3yo's were so superior? Dick Turpin was a very good horse last year but could not live with any of those.
Take Frankel out and Excelebration has absolutely hosed up and think how many more races and how much more prize money he would have won were it not for Frankel......one very good horse and one great one!
agree,3yo's having a remarkable season, maybe they'll look into weight for age now
a champion horse in any other year. Ran into a horse that is exceptional.
Coolmore very shrewd with their purchase of Excelebration
