Am I losing the plot? Do I need to seek help?

This gets worse

I dont even understand why there is a market in this race

Surely all money would be placed as Frankel win bets

Anyone with only a small knowledge of horse racing will be backing Frankel or not taking part in the race

I dont understand any of these posts about Frankel losing

How can anyone here at Betfair think that Frankel could lose today?

Is it all about the forum mentality or what?

Does this explain why lots of people lose their money on horse racing?

In my time as a man-who-backs-horsesandthings , i have found that when something is supposed to be an absolute banker ,it fails 7 / 10 times.
Especially if Mcoy is on it.
Anyway,as much as i feel Frankel is a good thing, i just cant bring myelf to back it beacuse i feel the value is in the place market.i.e.  Immortal Verse / Dick Turpin.

GL on Frankel though , great horse it is.

How long I have been "on here" as you put it, is not a true reflection of the length of time I have been involved with the horse racing industry

My dear cab, I am correct when I write that anyone that judges a persons length of time spent with the horse racing industry by relating to their Betfair Forum Joined Date - Should in no way be getting involved in gambling as they are far too narrow minded

So there you go cab - I hope I haven't offended you in any way - I just feel the time has come for me to speak out when posters press the reply button before thinking

Think before you press reply - You know it makes sense

Good luck today

Yes I agree Immortal Verse looks a stand out place bet - I wont be having a place bet in this race, I dont often bother with place bets as I dont like them - It's just a me thing

I am commenting on the win market - It doesn't make any sense

Good luck

I am  narrow minded from inono who says SURELY ALL MONEY SHOULD BE PLACED AS FRANKEL WIN BETS. What deluded little world are you from DEAR inono?

Frankel is 1/2 today.

(shhhh, some people think it wont win)[:x]

your quote of  'Does this explain why lots of people lose their money on horse racing' may ring true later. Im just saying, it may not be as clear cut as it first looks.  The largest bookmakers giving you 50% of your bank in less than 2 minutes, its no cert.[smiley:crazy]

When you get a horse race with 8 runners @ 1/4 odds 1,2,3 and with a place book of 110% for the remaining 2 places even if the favourite is placed then with the addition of one or two similar races elsewhere including a glance at tomorrow , it's job done tbh & in all probability it won't matter to me whether the fav wins or not.

Let's make sure we get the dead 8 runners first though , good luck guys   Happy

Depends mate tbh , how many runners , what place terms , can you include in multi's , what does the maths say & what's the criteria for deciding which 4/1 you play if any ?

cancel that, odds all changed, no betting with ladbrokes who were 1-2-3 at 1/5th
race is in oz, so sleep has killed that!

There is nearly 40,000 pounds lying there wating to be taken

Odds Range 1.38 To 1.4

This is unreal, there are going to be some very sad layers pressing the Log Out Button earlier than expected today

Any of you that have layed Frankel should have a serious re-think on what you have done

Most of us have known for a long time that he wins today

I would back off the lay bet I had placed if I was one of you

Never ever let your imagination push you into laying a class horse like Frankel

Can some good person explain to me - Why did Frankel go 1.65 in running (I am pretty sure it was 1.65)

It gets worse - I dont understand people and their actions

What a strange reply to my question

No worries one thing is certain - There is far more profit in my account than yours - That is if you have an accout

Good luck
