Good evening. Does anyone know if Robbie Fitzpatrick picked up a whip ban in the last at Wolver?

There were 5 definite strikes inside the final furlong, but it also looked as if he'd 'placed' the whip on the horse a couple of times before striking it.

Weaver and Harvey said they had just heard something, but then changed their minds about divulging it - as if awaiting confirmation. Could be completely wrong though.

The Stewards held an enquiry into the use of the whip by Robbie Fitzpatrick, the rider of SHAWS DIAMOND (USA), during the whole race. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race, they found him in breach of Schedule (B)6 Part 2 in that he used his whip with excessive frequency. As the offence warranted a suspension at the upper level, the Stewards suspended Fitzpatrick for 5 days as follows: Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Monday 31 October, Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 November, 2011. Under Schedule (D)6 the rider shall not be entitled to a riding fee or a percentage of any prize money.
