The BHA needs to ACT QUICKLY!
The ideal scenario imho would be to immediately revert to te OLD RULES and then to trial the new rules (with a few changes)on the All weather from December 1 to January 31.
To force the BHA to do this quite simple....
Every jockey in every race "taps" (not hits) the horse 7 times with the whip......every jockey would get a 7 day ban and in a few weeks time..there would be no racing for a week as there would be no licenced jockeys....
The the BHA would have to act!

doable but not every jockey can afford to miss a weeks wages.If the multi millionaires chucked the lower level a monkey a piece from the considerable bank accounts then it shows unity and intent.
ph I agree totally that the bigger earners need to support the "journeymen"....
it would be the best 10k that 10 of them would ever spend. 100k pot would feed 200 for a week.Stable staff still have horses to keep and care for so the trainers get stiffed a weeks wages with no prize money.They would still be charging training fees to cover staff and immediate overheads. The BHA are terrified of public perception,a public that makes this a minor sport.I'd be more worried about alienating the devotees and public already in the net.
