Some races have just become farcical. If your horse is within 3l of the leader with 2f to go you might still have a chance - otherwise you know your fate. Its just impossible to tell which jocks are actually trying to win or get placed and which ones are just easing off. Horses are making ground for being ridden and then just plug on when the jockey puts the stick down.

As a few people have already said the new whip rule has become a cheats charter.

to be honest mate i have found it easier..not sure if any reflection on whip rule, but i have based betting on previous c/d form, jockey bookings etc and have had 9 winners from last 15 selections..did not win lottery though haha..since whip ban came in I have been playing very small stakes compared to what i normally do as have been more on a watching note and seeing how it all pans out...I agree that pre the ban you know where you stand and dislike the new rule 100%, but there could be some action involved as a backer..that said playing small stakes has cost me a fortune in potnetial winnings..maybe this is the time the backer has a better chance?...i am sure i could have been closer to retirement if i had done my normal staking plan...damn that ruling lol...i guarantee that tomorrow when I have a real pop it all goes wrong, but up 850 on nags in last 48 hours...shame i layed the crap out of the prizefighter winner!LaughLaugh
