I think he came in JUST under the required limit Mischief

Yes the rule is an asss

Yes it is tough for jockeys in full flight "when trying" ( see above )

Yes punters will suffer

BUT

These are the rules they HAVE to obide by until they are changed if ever.

It is no diff than them telling jocks they can't hit a horse in a certain way ( that too is a rule ) whilst some jockeys used to do it more than others.

Having to keep straight in the 1st furlong , also a rule they have to obide by that is diff than before.

I absolutely think it is a ****s rule and kicking the whip altogether would make much more sence IF it needed to be changed

But I am sick of hearing from jockeys talking about poor punters / owners etc when day in day out many of these feckers are burrying horses / yanking thier ears off / going up blind alleys

Where is the thought for the punters then ffs.

Fight your corners by all means but no feckin way do it in MY name as a punter becuase most of you would have the clothes off my back without a second thought every day of the week.

Ban the whip / or change back is my view to give us a chance , at least we can spot the dodgy baastard easier than we can now [;)]
