Hi there. been looking at this forum for about 4 or 5 weeks. I am a 35 year old bloke from sheffield. i love my football and my horses! I have a lot of time for skinto and also the people who seem to have a dislike for him! I have to admit that i dont yet understand fully the world of laying/backing. I have only ever stuck my hard earned cash on a straight win or maybe a £5/£10 trixie. i think forums should be there for opinions and banter. i know how to have a laugh so if you want to give it, bring it on lol
p.s full respect to skinto. and the guys that lay him...............what do i know???

I'm an utter novice (been around for a few years but only recently started posting) but some of the advice given here is worth its weight in gold. Some other tips are terrible. But hey...

What I do love though is the humour. Some of the funniest and quickest retorts on the 'net!

Some utter slaggings, some kind congratulations. Oh, and get used to being called 'mug'!

i am a normal bloke who likes horse racing!! lets not forget what this is all about. i will never throw a tip here because i am still learning. but i am sure i will enjoy a lot of banter here in the months to come!
cheers guys.

Welcome and yes I remember old Willsford a lovely horse. Unfortunately its looks like you have joined as racing in Britain drives itself into extinction.

i really hope you are wrong steamship but i fear the same!
facts........WALOFS......clue please!
we all have our quirks... i dont like to back a horse that hasnt run within 2 months. or has too many FFF or PP or UU next to it. as a novice gambler who is still learning these things are very offputting. i take quite a disliking to topweights too especially as i prefer the jump season and love a 3 mile slog.
all comments and advice appreciated..
many thanks
