Monday against the BHA whip rule....Apparently on Saturday they have obligations to ride in the Qipico series . .Yeah sure...Nothing to do with the £3 million prize money
Wouldn't bank on the jockeys sticking together on this issue. Let's face it, they've got 'previous' when it comes to taking on the authorities ...... mobile 'phone bans and stalls handlers are a couple that spring to mind.

I really hope they do go on strike - could you imagine how it will be reported 'jockeys on strike because they can only hit horses seven or eight times'. They would probably get as much public sympathy as bankers.

I never seen anyone as Anti-racing as that Big Mac he has so tried to turn the public against racing. How can he be allowed now on a racing channel. He's allowed his points of view but instead of saying they hit the horse 6-8 times with an air cushioned whip he tries to make out the jockeys come back with a broken down horse to the enclosure, the jockeys with bits of meat and blood dripping from their metal whips....ATR should have a word.
