The problem is there no-one to give a balanced view to the public in support of the whip. This is where the sport could use James Willoughby.

All the general public is hearing is his view - using Ballabrigs as an example.

As Willoughby points out, so using a cushioned whip at the end of a Flat race is more cruel than asking a horse to jump 30 big fences over 4.5 miles?

So shouldn't the whole sport be questioned? The sport McCririck which has made you a wealthy man.

it is genuinely astounding he has a job on a racing channel and indeed that anyone in the sport agrees to talk to him - richard hughes for example, who is apparently a great jockey but at the same time a cruel horse beater.

the fat ba$tard,i =s no more an anamal lover, than Richard Huegs is poor, the fat ba$tard has cioned in on his banthe the whip boll!cks, from day one, i walk in on a race night in a racing town, it was during the interval, and the wast off space FAT PIG, (sorry pigs)on it as a pundit, it was showing a horse at Doncaster running loose with a blind fold on, and every time it crashed throw the rails, onto the golf course and back again, The BASTA*D roared with laughter, and the final time it crashed throw the rail onto the path on the stands rails, he let out a sicking roar, that the HYPO BASTA*D that sits in front of the little limelight, crying ban the whip, must be a mental scar from his Tom Brown school days. they shoot horses dont they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!all for his pocket, he is clASS, a firist clASS BASTA*D.

It was funny on Sunday forum Mac wants the whip banned yet wanted our greatest miler Frankel to race in America, this was in the same programme that showed Cape Blanco getting whipped in the US. Any serious racing programme should drop him immediately. I was surprised that hed been dropped by c4 a couple of years ago now I applaud that decision.

As I've pointed out on another thread - asking a horse to risk its life jumping an obstacle at speed is arguably more cruel than using an air-cushioned whip at the end of a Flat race.

So presumably he won't be having anything more to do with NH racing?

No horse ever died being hit with a whip - but quite a few have died trying to jump an obstacle.

The Fat Mouth Fool  - is well past his 'sell by date'.

He knows it, too ... and that is why he is seeking this one last hurrah' - to be remembered as the man who got the whip banned.

That is why he plies his trade on the BBC, SKY  - as nobody in racing takes him remotely seriously anymore.

How can we - following him 'selling himself' by appesaring on Big Brother Wife Swap  - and anywhere else that will have him.

A self-serving pocket-liner - proven time after time

The Reason for him being on the BBC and SKY is for 3 reasons.

Firstly he is 20 mins from Sheperds Bush
Secondly he is 30 mins from Gillette Corner.

Thirdly he is the only person to go on Tv at short notice with a view. If you agree with him or not, that's another matter.

Fourthly he has no modicom of self respect, honesty, shame or respect of the industry that has kept him in employment until now.

Five - would sell his soul for a fee.

But the truth is,no one else would go on TV with a view. For or against.
