I'm sure it was, but it's about time the bookies refiunded stakes on these non-runners ...2nd one ive backed in a fortnight. All it means is I won't bet at Kempton and probably bet less. It's hard enough backing winners never mind not even getting a run.
Thhis kind of thing is bad PR for racing , about time BHA said if a horse refuses to race before the first hurdle/fence then it is a non-runner. But that's to straight forward for them.
Fast losing interest in the game what with this daylight robbery and the new whip rule ruining the game.

100% correct this does nothing for racing the horse never went a yard like you say if they don't make the first hurdle /fence it should be a n/r

QUOTE ! "Refused to race , took no part" How can any bookmaker with any credibility not deem this a non-runner and return stakes.  What is the point of the big 5 having all these glamorous PR spokespeople when on the most important matter to their customers is ignored like this !!
