I intended suggesting this Toretto was lay material but a review of his two races in Ireland make me think a very big run is on the cards, especially as the way he's been ridden to date means that he will only need a couple of taps with the persuader to get involved at the business end.
In his first race he was held way off the pace, never put into the race but somehow managed to finish sixth when at one point he seemed destined to be tailed off. The use of the whip was not evident.
In his second race some of his jumps were a bit sketchy, with a tendency to veer left. Here again he was held up in midfield and with less than vigorous effort managed to finish fourth, once more with the whip seeming to be redundant.
On both occasions I'm sure there was a lot more horse available at the finish and if he can be encouraged to be prominent I feel sure he'll stay on well. Not my sort of price but if it sets you up for the afternoon perhaps it's worth a flutter. Good luck.
Massive Lay on Colebrooke. Used his full quota of strikes before the second last and race commentator said, "Hugely flattered to come second."
It jumped badly and needed to be bustled along just to hang on the coat tails of the leading bunch. Finished past tired horses.
