Moore to ride So You Think in Champion
By James Burn 10:01AM 13 OCT 2011 RYAN MOORE will be back on board So You Think in Saturday's Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot. Moore rode the Aidan O'Brien-trained superstar to win the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh in May and was also on him when the pair finished second to Rewilding in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. Seamie Heffernan took over when So You Think won the Coral-Eclipse, beating Workforce, ridden by Moore, by half a length. With Moore sidelined through injury, Heffernan also won the Red Mills Irish Champion Stakes on the five-year-old and partnered him to finish fourth in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this month. O'Brien will also run Fame And Glory (Jamie Spencer) in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot on Saturday. |
