Had to administer the whip before the final circuit and 10 seconds later pulls up on the favourite. It is just not worth it for somebody of his calibre to persevere.

This is what this ludicrous rule is doing to our sport.

it is what the BHA are after,don't give the nice geegees a hard time.If they want to race and even win then so be it but the moody,recalcitrant,lazy ones can have a few easy outings,fail as racehorses and hopefully the public won't become aware of increased sales for Cheval meals in Belgium or glue sales in the UK.
