you know this CD/C winner thing you wanted.  Ok, so I get it for flat that you just want the last CD winner irrespective of racetype...

but what about NH?  If it's a chase run, do you just want CD/C chase winners or any NH (what about NH flat!?)

Also, for Newmarket - are you treating both courses as the same?

thanks

me again Happy

sorry, forgot to ask about distance - if the NH race was just 1 furlong shorter or longer - would that count as a CD or not?

Think he wants the Newmarket NH course only - not the flat track.

Re. your question regarding tables on the other thread.  The tables I post are taken from a spreadsheet.

A forumite by the name of IB Gaming asked how I did it back in July.  I've copied and pasted my reply below.

"Re. displaying ratings in table.

There was a similar query over on the General Betting forum a few weeks ago....here's the link...

http://community.betfair.com/general_betting/go/thread/view/94082/27910241/how-do-you-insert-a-excel-spreadsheet-table-in-here-pls

Have a look at my reply at 04:43 on 23 June.  It will hopefully point you in the right direction.

Good luck with your ratings.

PS  Don't try to copy and paste that document I've put up on Google.  That won't work.  You'll need to copy and paste directly from your spreadsheet".

For me YYW
Happy for whatever i get Grin
Facts may disagree

A furlong is close enuff for me at NH to call CD
Ignore NHF - irrelevant
Chase to chase & hurdle to hurdle - no crossover

Hope those tags meet triple w regs Grin

for me a course win is a course win. I allow cross over between hurdle and chase. My stats also show that Newmarket applies to both courses.CD applies to the distance over the course, any less/greater distance would equal just C in my book.

Plain right... well I guess life would be too simple if everyone agreed wouldn't it...

Because I hadn't heard from you earlier, what I've done is to build the spreadsheet without any CD/C, and I'll do a madhatters add-on and a Facts add-on at the end.  Hope that's ok.

Question for you:
How many horses ran in races between 30-Sep-2011 to 01-Oct-11 in UK & IRE?  Go on, just have a guess...

The think if anyone annoyed Jem she would let them know about it.  Faye is one of those seemingly drippy women who is actually incredibly manipulative and is always playing emotional games.  I like Aaron, but for gawd's sake - stand up to Faye.  I so hope she goes this Friday, but I think Arden's time may be up.... straight into the clutches of Rebeckah the witch.... can't help but think Social Services should take him into foster care for his own protection!

Did you see the way Faye behaved with Jem over building the house of cards!?  utter bitch.

a guess for the year then: ireland, average at 3 cards per week for weekdays and another 3 for weekends=6cards

uk weekdays 3 cards per day for 6months, and say  4 cards then for 6 months + an average of about 8 for a weekend.

so:ire 6*14*52*7=30,576
i increased average runner per race to 14 for ireland cos they always have big fields

uk: 3*5*12*26*7=32,760
    4*5*12*26*7=43,680
=8*12*52*7=34,944
so my guess is 141,960

my origanal guess 840*182.5=153,300
