i personally wouldnt have mccoy on a novice hurdler or chaser of mine but would have no probs putting him on anything not in the novice catergory. i say this because i beleave mccoy can present a novice to a hurdle or fence to forcefully and if it gets 1 wrong thats it although id pay treble the fee to get mccoy in any other type of race as his strong style often gets results.

If I had a decent novice hurdler I'd send it to Ireland and say feck you English whip counting pigs.

nobody's won more arkle's which imo has got to be the toughest examination of a novice over jumps, hurdles or fences. suggests to me that he's the best jockey riding on a novice.

i would ..more so than ever now....him and fallon will thrive more than most under the new whip rules.....when they push and shove , it actually makes a difference to the horse.
