was thinking about this horse yesterday, always drops out and finishes like a train when on a going day .
will the horses in front be slower at the end as they are whipped less , will Flying Applause catch them late .
or will it be detrimental because the jockey cant encourage it enough to get going.

 re Flying Applause - watch the race again - he actually made ground when Kennemore was pushing him and didn't like the whip.....had he been good enough he would have won - he wasn't great good enough but not imho the jockeys fault.. |
