much will depend  on the way the race un-folds i feel, his final run last season was dissapointing.bated breath obviously prefers decent ground and win/lose or draw appeals as the type to win races as a 5 year old shold he stay in training.Society rocks still probably on upward curve, though maybe needs the right ground to be seen at best.Genki throws in the odd good run when you least expect it and maybe a tad overriced.so 1 to swerve or side with the deacon blues?

I just wonder if James Fanshawe will let both horses take their chance - he can be so careful about placing his horses - on quick ground will he just swerve the race with Deacon Blues and save him for next year? Personally I backed society rock e-way at 12's - simply felt there would be a number of high profile non runners, to be honest I was a bit gutted when moonlight cloud didn't line up for the abbaye. Ascot form is so important these days and Society Rock has run three blinders each time he's been at the track.
