Can't seem to get his head around the fact that nowadays people can actually see the race. Not like back in the day when all we had was the bookmakers tannoy. The days commentator had it all to themselves to 'present' the race how they wanted - usually making every race sound exciting( even when it wasn't). It was great in photo finishes. The old lags always 'knew' which horse had won - it was the one that was read out first
