Started Thursday night and decided to have a marathon through until late last night with a compy between 7 of us.Object was to drink as much as possible,sleep as little as possible and punt on every race in UK,US and down under.
Starting bank of 1,000 euros,max bet per race of 10 euros or dollars.Result mega hangovers,a damaged starting bank for me,reduced to 230 euros by the end.The Amalfi however ended up with 7,420 euros in profit between them,the best being over 3k on his own.
The upside for me was buying a share in an Anglo Arab foal for 700 from one of the lads and him insisting he buy it back last night for 1,300.
A surreal long weekend and one unlikely to be repeated for a while,enjoyable craic,less than happy women.Fat Dodgy and his LSD reminisces spring to mind.
Booze and betting no good in my case and looking at some of the postings,Broadband not a good idea either.
Anyone else ever been daft enough to do anything similar under the influence?[smiley:crazy][smiley:crazy]
