Giblet- he should have ridden it earlier yes and it got very tired.
However the point i was making is that he wont get a ban- understand the rules before you start making invalid points.

i never said he'd get a ban paganin, read the posts properly before you make invalid accusations

i said he never rode it for four furlongs until he made a mistake at the last then he started driving it

My post was in response to the 28 day ban claim nothing else. The understand the rules was in response to Broadsword who said he should have been banned not you, hence the start of a new sentence.

Your point was in direct response to mine, mine was saying that the ban claim was rubbish.

we all  have  to  be  sensible  and  rational  in  a  debate  otherwise  one  can  look  very  foolish  and  churlish !  I  had a  large  bet  on Old  Wigmore .....AP  i  feel  was  guilty  of  assuming  he  had won  the race  for  a  second  after  the  last  and then realised  the  race  wasnt  over  very quickly . He  is  not  a  robot  and if  it  was  anyone else  there  wouldnt  be  anything  like the hysteria . What  hasnt  been mentioned  and  overlokked  is  the  run that  Johnson  got  out  of  the  winner  when AP  and  eveeryone  watching  the  race  thought  it  was  over . AP  has  made  a  misatke  and  is  human .  No  fiddle  and  no  conspiracy .  I  have  got  over  losing  a  third  of  my  bank  on  it  .  I  suggest  everyone  stays  rational  and  lets  keep  the  debate  within  reason  please  gents !

He'll get nothing but he should get time off for it. The reason people are willing to bet 5/4 is because the champion jockey is riding and theu expect a top ride and not for the man to nod off on the run to,over and after the last. All horses make mistakes but taking 50 yards to wake up and get your horse rebalanced is for amateurs, not for Champion jockeys

the race was won ..the horse screwed the last and stopped...simple as.

errmm I beg to differ, the race wasn't won before the last, had he been 20 clear then probably but a mistake can turn the gauge to empty or injure the horse. AP got caught out,the horse didn't find or downed tools either way it caught him out.

My 2 cents the horse screwed and just like a human it could have done some muscle damage unlike a human a horse will keep trying to run and he cant say here stop im injured either Laugh

Believe it or not the right thing to do here is to get an explanation out to the Public. Be good for PR and perhaps an apology from the pilot. After all we do pay his wages through our hard earned money.
No big deal, just come out and say I thought the race was won, horse had jumped like a buck, was getting a little tired coming to the last so I decided to let him pop it, he bunny hopped, got a fright and I got a fright and was not really paying attention and when I got him going the race was over.

You get more credit that way

yes facts........i  tend  to  do  the  insane  every now  and  again .....of  course  it  wouldnt look quite  so  silly  if  it  had  won .....perhaps  even good  judgement !...i  live  to  fight  another  day .....another  salient  point  is  that  AP  looked  around  between  the  last  2   and  at  that  very  moment  saw  Dickie  slowing  up  and  looking  round  to  see  where  the  third  horse  was .....AP  clearly  misjudged the  situation ....but  again  its  rare  that  a  horse  virtually  gives  up  and then sprouts  wings  so  to  speak
