on the gravy train point.......

has there ever been a sport that pays so many, so much, for so long, for so little.

game has been bled dry by the people who are now crying foul for more money.

anyone know what racing for change has cost so far and how many of the old boys brigade it employes?

how much it takes to keep the governing bodies going for a year?

how much racing uk pay its pundits for the privelage of broadcasting?

rfc has been a disaster imo...it has come up with the most childish rubbish.... ...it simply has damaged the image of racing , and has pondered to the whims of the socalled concerned animal rights groups..

I just hope that some of his oppinions are actually genuine because I think there is an element in racing journalism who just chime in on the hot topic in order to keep themselves relevant without really thinking about what they are saying. The vault face of Francombe and McCririck on the whip issue in recent times is an example of imo, I'd never heard Francombe express a view on this until recent times, in fact, it was around the time they were shaking up C$'s racing coverage and Franks hasn't lost any hours. Does anyone think that McCririck is trying to update his image with the public and trying to look more progressive to his employers through his attitude to the whip?Devil

He's an idiot who adds nothing to the debate about the stick, thanks to his desire to completely polarise the subject.

Today was a perfect example; because they disagree with his view, he tried to paint the other guests as being in favour of whip use like that of Spencer on Cape Blanco.
