Could somebody in Racing For Change or even some other high ranking body please create an archive containing all Group One and Grade One races ever run in the UK and Ireland as far back as the dawn of video cameras?
Is that a good suggestion or what? With all the changes to whipping a horse, the racing schedule, and marketing ideas, surely a place for racing fans to watch old races can be found.

I'd think nigh on impossible with copyright clashes and demanding fees etc.

That should still be negotiable. I wanted to watch a re-run of Hardy Eustace vs Harchibald 2005, yet it's not available anywhere the web - for fee or otherwise. Surely there is something wrong there.
In the interests of the fans who follow the game all year round, and in essence are the heartbeat of the racing public, races such as the one above should be available. Preferably for free. |

Looking for the MJ "He's laughing at his rivals" commentary Foxy Top.
Although Holt's is good too, but MJ that day was poetry. |
