Dave it is amazing that the lad has had such a good career in the saddle

considering the scrapes he has got into through the drink.

He looks ruined from it. The bet was 10 years ago and although he drew in reality he did not last the 2 years. He has made up for it since anyway.

He is a fair advertisement to giving it up anyway

Best horse rider, flat or jumps, I've ever seen.

Although these Carberry interviews typically follow the same pattern......L'escargot....Bobbyjo.....rode a horse to a pub.....lit a fire on a plane......sings Alice song to other jockeys.......failed an alcohol test.....off drink since.

Why does nobody tackle him about Harchibald and Psycho in the interviews....!!..?

Not sure I'd agree with 'best' since he hasn't really fulfilled his potential but he's certainly the most natural horseman I've seen.

His father was also quite a character in his younger days, he used to run big races in the Ashbourne House Hotel and Mick Ryans in Ratoath with his drinking buddy Ray Lyons who used fly the horse planes
