I see today Carlisle have unveiled a new hurdles track but i have done a quick search on the web and RP but can't find that much about it it

Previously did they share a lot of the actual Chase course?

No - they ran Hurdles on the Flat course.
Not good for the Flat course - No rest, little recovery time - especially given the going that they can, and often, get at Carlisle in the winter. Leicester, and others, run Hurdles on the Flat track - but Leicester stage All CHASE chase races only cards in the couple of months before they return to Flat racing. |
