What race could Frankel, Black Caviar and Sepoy meet in next year?
Say a 7f race. And how would you price it up? |
|
By:
never gonna happen!! if she comes over cecil isnt gonna drop him back to 7 JUST to race her! he wouldnt even run frankel over 10 this season and im not sayin he'd be afraid to run him against her (obviously) but i really dont see him doing it just to race her! what race would it be? a special race created for them? not gonna happen! love to see it all the same!

IS there an actual 7 furlong race for older horses worth them running in?
If not, which 6 furlong or 8 furlong race could they race in? |

ilikewavingatbuses what a lovely thought though.. echoes of Dubai Millenium and Montjeu...
2 horses 7f Purse to go to the winner Surely theyre all sporting people, imagine if the both went into the race unbeaten.. could be billed as the biggest race ever think i best go to bed, im getting to excited, you are right, it will never happen, filly has nothing to lose, so she loses, still worth a fortune at stud, frankel looses and he has been beaten by a filly no aura about him. Personally 6f - 1m 2f I dont think any horse from the last decade could live with frankel, I think Sea The Stars would be amazing.. I picture it just as the eclipse he ran with Rip Van Winkle but when Frankel challenges he glides past... |

peter moddy's words hearaldsun today.
Are you committed to taking Black Caviar overseas next year? The owners of this wonderful horse have never ever said to me where they wanted to run the horse. They've always left it to me. We sat down to a lunch after she had run in Brisbane and I said, "You own the best horse in the world. Do you have a wish list?" Their wish to a person was that if we did go overseas, it would be to Royal Ascot. Well, that will give her another seven or eight runs here. We would only be taking her to Ascot if she was at the top of her game. I did say at the time if that was the objective it would rule out Hong Kong because I think going through the quarantine situation a few times, it was just going to make it impossible, well, not impossible, but you lose the opportunity to run in the Orr and Futurity here, which I think is more important than going to Hong Kong. Given her record, would Ascot be the exclamation point? I suppose it would be her crowning glory if we could go there and perform. I suppose if we're sitting here in April next year and she is 20 for 20 or 21 from 21, it would be her crowning moment. She has surpassed my wildest dreams now. I would suggest she would only go to Ascot if she is 20 for 20. She's not going to be going there if she's 18 from 20. Really, the only way you can see these horses on the domestic front beating her is if something goes wrong. Something untoward has to happen and you would think that would rule out her career. his been asked the question many times ....Frankel against black caviar his reply, "as i told the owners,You own the best horse in the world" |

Do you really want to take on Black Caviar. she's coming, will Frankel take up the challenge? i doubt it, wouldnt look good on his record being beaten by a female. |

Is Sepoy not worth comment? Is he planning to come over?
Sheikh Mo owns him. |

By:
For sure SYT would appear on this thread - hardly turned out to be the second coming has he? She may well be a fantastic mare but to say 'best horse in the world' with no caveats when you've only raced against the same 30 odd Australian sprinters is pretty meaningless (but very Australian).

typical sarcastic response, get it right, after todays flogging of the opposition, thats 115 sprinters, 21 group 1 winners. |
