Much is going
to depend on how good unraced SHALLOW BAY is but
unraced 4yo males won this race in 2004 and 2005 and
had several wins in the 1990's as well and it makes him
by far and away the safest choice to win this race and it
has to be said he was smart on the Flat.

SHALLOW BAY is the selection

I have backed shallow bay but Numen has a decent rating already over hurdles.

alarming alacrity @ 60/1 w/p. Evens has two runners today and is in good form atm. Sean Flannagan a decent young Jock and clearly the Mcoy horse is unfancied.

This reads very much like something I read this morning... [;)] Another idea is to lay Tweedledrum. Apart from the obvious negative from our sprit guide elsewhere, Beat Hollow progeny are opposable over 16f+

This is a Novice Hurdle over 17f
* I looked at every Novice Hurdle in October
* Thats 701 Novice Hurdle at every distance
* Looking at horses from Chases this season like NUMEN
* Horses from Chases this season were 6-90
* Those running between 2m and 2m 4f were 0-27
* NUMEN attempts to be the first as this is 2m 1f
* None came from Novice Handicap Chases (0-6)
* NUMEN does look unsafe
* TWEEDLEDRUM is an unraced 4yo filly
* There are 701 Novice Hurdles at every distance
* I looked at Unraced Fillies like TWEEDLEDRUM
* There was a miserable 3-196 record
* Those aged 4 like TWEEDLEDRUM are 0-87
* Those that ran at 2m 4f and shorter were 0-145
* TWEEDLEDRUM also fails that
* TWEEDLEDRUM has to be a Negative
only an opinion.

It is an opinion, but it's not your opinion! Happy

Tweedledrum was the easiest lay I've ever done! The problem was that Numan was not a strong negative, so I couldn't rule him out. Therefor laying the filly was the safe bet.

Either way, that GUY who gave us the stats. for this race is a fooooking genius!! :)
