i really like so many of them, jumps i would go fontwell, kelso and plumpton, flat the rowley mile by a long way, sandown and newbury mixed are both excellent places to go,in newburys case you see the best racing in both codes.
Report RyanWe • October 5, 2011 10:01 PM BST
Funny that you both mention Goodwood, Font, and Plump as they are my local tracks. Just wish Font and Plump had better jumps racing.

Always wanted to go to Sandown for the jumps, and the Hennessy at Newb. Any particular jumps meeting you would recommend for Sandown? Imperial Cup day etc etc
Report jimnast • October 5, 2011 10:03 PM BST
sandown tingle creek both days, newbury thurs/fri of the hennersy meeting.

some that will surprise people who have not been, are leicester gets a lot of stick it doent deserve great view from the last fence is well worth going to see, hamilton much better than it looks on tv,carlisle rapidly improving each year, the likes of hexham, market rasen and salisbury are great places to go but everybody knows that.
Report ribero1 • October 6, 2011 9:39 AM BST
hi jimnast, like you i aint too fussy and don't mind any of them although i haven't been to most of the smaller southern tracks,if i had to choose the worst it would definitely have to be wolverhampton though, used to do nottingham and leicester at least a dozen times a year with leslie and easily preferred nottingham.

Still have the Scottish - Ayr aside - and the NI ones to do.

The only one I wouldn't care to visit again is Worcester - well until they've upgraded the place.

Report jimnast • October 6, 2011 12:18 PM BST
hi ribero nothing wrong with nottingham at all,i just find in recent years leicester has come on a bit, nice little flower beds in members with a good old fashioned cafe round the back.
