So they move it to the Saturday and what then happens to the Midlands National?
Also, it'd ruin the Magnificent 7 endurance test, Warwick Sun, Stratford Mon, Cheltenham 4 days and Uttoxeter on the Saturday.

It would be more popular in the evenings under floodlights.Sky would pay a fortune for the coverage. Also, more chance of horses falling which would make it much more fun for casual followers of racing.

Forget 4 day festival this is going 6races over 5 days. I dont like it but if it means they get another 40000 at the Festival then you see where thay are coming from. Remember this sport esp racecourses and bookmakers is run by them. The way racing is so focused on a Saturday nowadays drives me mad, so much better when spread out.
