Don't take much notice tbh.

SK-at my age every second counts and not a second is waisted. Even at my very high level of edumacation I am still learning things and observe stuff of wot I don't know on a daily basis.

I try to add to the knowledge of my fellow forumites and hence this thread as soon as I noticed it.

Thank you Dr Slicer.

Generous,to a fault.Imo.

Report Slicer • October 4, 2011 1:41 PM BST

Generosity is one of my many attributes, being philanthropist all the time. But my most outstanding attribute is my modesty. Indeed, in the old days when I played a bit of snooker my nickname was Modesty Baize! Unfortunately later on they then gave me a new nickname-Arthur Itis- and so I gave up the game.

there was a flat maiden race a couple of weeks ago where one of the runners had won
it had won a bumper at market rasen

dr slicer..as one of the few who has the full working knowledge of the "grail"
i will never have to work again...i will always be in your debt sir.

Report Slicer • October 4, 2011 2:18 PM BST

I remember it.
But I thought it didn't count because winners of races at jump courses where the jumps have been removed for the race do not count. Also I believe the stools were not in place for this race so it cannot be considered.
