I backed Secret Asset at Nottingham in a class 3 earlier this year
Sometimes racing just amazes me.I can understand Tangerine Trees as he has some great form if not group 1 standard |

At the top level the better sprinters seem to be over 6f, is it no wonder that usually we struggle to keep the Kings Stand at Home.

Sprinting is weird. Anything that can place in a Class 2 handicap can figure in a Group 1 - they can all win on their day. It seems to happen far, far, far less at 7 f+

My best valentine 66/1
I had a cheeky tenner ew Nice one Ray Cochrane |

You'd have to say that the 6f group form has held up ok with Dream Eater, Bated Breath being the best and filling the 2 places together in the best two races.
The Golden Jubilee was run on softer ground by an Ascot specialist. Id probably say that given his optimum conditions(fast ground and a pace to aim at) that Sole Power would probably be top of the tree at 5 though |

Big shortage of high class sprinters right across Europe at the moment. Don't worry onlooker, time will turn things around. I mean, Hoof it has been touted as one of the best sprinters this season, but only a handicapper really.

standard of 5 fur/6 fur group 1 is a joke, hardly listed class compared to the habibti, stravinsky, green desert, dayjur, marwell, moorestyle,

Dream Eater is the best sprinter around but they chose to run him over 7 furlongs-and beat Goldikova! The 5 furlong bunch are moderate at the moment and take turns in winning. A one length advantage from a fast start or the best draw can change the finishing order as we have seen so often this season.

Dream Eater wouldn't finish in the same parish as Goldikova tbf
