Some racehorse though, goes on all ground has a good turn of foot, would imagine J.P. bidding away now.
Horse for you all to look out for Shu Lewis. |

Who actually advises JP on which horses to buy?Because he does seem to buy a lot of dross.

By:
Frank Berry and you are right buys some real soft horses.

Some job that, huge budget and spend your time buying up countless stores and once raced bumper winners and horses that have already established form.Wonder what his budget is during the summer?Any reason why he doesn`t use the likes of Bromley for his purchases, must be galling to see Clive Smith,Andy Stewart etc keep on finding quality horses.

Probably because Berry and Jonjo are not just business associates but also Very close friends. Christy Roche in that trio as well

I dont know the man but he does appear to be loyal, any jockey that ever rode for him is given a horse if he starts training, this loyalty however is costly.

Was just thinking the same, his generosity seems to have no ends,is he as popular over there as it seems,or do some have issues with him living abroad?Must have many jobs relying on his patronage, mind you i really liked that Grey chaser of his Blitzkreig back in the day.

Correct Vectis it would be unknown the amount of people who would lose their jobs if he pulled out of racing.
The attitude to him here is mixed, among racing people still admired and respected but viewed as a fat cat by the disaffected. |

JP an absolute gent and not afraid to put his hand in his pocket for local causes, has given away millions upon millions - one of the few who does so

Agree he comes across as a lovely fellow with that softly spoken lisp, still think he would be better off spending a bit more wisely but hey,it`s his money and fair play to him.
