Thought this'd be worth sharing with you all.
In 2006, I didn't have a strong fancy for the Arc but had a couple of small bets.
Then they showed the PMUs.  The Japanese smashed into Deep Impact (think it was 1.1 on the PMU or something ridiculous!)  This meant that all the other fancied horses were HUGE prices.  I leapt in and backed Rail Link (which of course won).  I think it was something crazy like 24/1 or 15/1 or something way too big!
I think there's a fair chance that it'll happen again today (although neither Japanese horse has he following that DI had).  There's a fair chance that Hiruno D will start a very short price fave on the PMU - hopefully giving us all great value on other horses.
It may not happen...but I thought this was worth flagging up for everyone's consideration.
All the best everyone!

Can see it being well backed but it won't be smashed. Should imagine it could easily go off 2nd fav, it's very close to that already.

I don't think they have the same love/belief in either of the Japanese runners this time that there was back then though. Still might find some value though.

I put this up as a helpful thread.  I don't crow or after-time.
If you feel it was meant in this way, then I'm afraid you are a very negative and cynical individual who doesn't deserve or appreciate the information/view-sharing spirit that this community represents.
Good luck to you anyway - may your outlook, belief in the goodness of people and luck improve.
