Goldi still wins this at 50% of her talent, every single think about this race is in her favour and every single thing about this race is not in DA favour, you may get evens first thing in the morning if your quick, that is total value and you can double her up with Dabirsim at evens

buying money

Report Diamond_Joe_Quimby • October 2, 2011 11:03 AM BST
If I had one bet this year that I would trust putting my entire house and life savings on it would be Goldikova in this race. This is an absolutely pi55 poor contest and I cannot see any circumstance in her getting beaten. 8/11 is enormous. In my genuine and humble opinion, she should be 1/5 in this field and that is no joke
Report revedesivola • October 2, 2011 11:05 AM BST
1/5? its no wonder you moan so much joeLaugh

I shall watch with interest.
Dream Ahead is very talented and has done me a couple of good turns but last time I had the impression he was not in love with the game.

Not bad horse that dream ahead - 9 races - 5 group 1 wins, champ sprinter, joint champ 2 yr old..
Report howard • October 2, 2011 2:38 PM BST
The very best colts will beat the best fillies. She had the run of race here thats for sure.
Report gibo1981 • October 2, 2011 2:46 PM BST
Threads like this make me wonder why some people even bother betting.

There was no way that our best sprinter was rated officially much below Goldikova, equal or a 1lb under possibly. And the comments of the 7 and 8f runs definitly showed the horse capable of winning a G1 over 7f. The 2nd run at Newmarket last October, after the most impressive display over 6f, probably came too soon - I've always thought that. Therefore a book of 11/10 and 6/4 would have been far more appropriate.

Did Dream Ahead with Reliable Man in a double as well as single so fingers crossed.

Before the race I felt quite happy with the chunk of 10/11 I had taken chez Joe on Goldie.

Less happy after the race
