His colourful life biography,brought it with me to delve into between showers,not the rain kind btw.
Had to laugh at the time he witnessed a full grown lion in the street and a bloke in a bowler hat climbing a lamp post to escape.
Later had to take the lion and its owner to London in the back of a car.Read it many times but still get a chuckle at some of the things he got up to.
Recommended if you havent yet read it.Also got me thinking back to some Grand National stories like the time Steve Smith Eccles went to sleep in the back of his car and when he woke up it was on the move,it had been nicked.
Another story regarding SSE was when a couple of jocks waited until he was sleeping and then dribbled snot onto his eyelids,when he woke up he couldnt open his eyes.
Dont worry Im not forgoing the delights of Paris,going out agan shortly.[;)]
