can anyone explain what went wrong,pulled up after 1 furlong!

David Nolan, the rider of SENATE MAJORITY, unplaced, reported that the
gelding bucked for the first furlong.

something Must have been bothering it to make it buck,any explanation?
The alarm bells rang with me when Allan didn't stay for the ride.I'm also aware that Nolan has won on him in the past,but obviously wasn't expected to reproduce his Ayr run today.
